EGR BYPASS VALVE SWITCHING VALVE > REMOVAL

1. REMOVE EGR WITH COOLER PIPE ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the EGR with cooler pipe assembly (Click here).



2. REMOVE NO. 1 EGR COOLER BRACKET

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 EGR cooler bracket.



3. REMOVE NO. 5 ENGINE COVER

  1. Disengage the 2 claws.

  1. Lift the No. 5 engine cover to disengage the hook and remove it from the No. 1 EGR cooler bracket.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

  1. Remove the bolt and No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly.



5. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR COOLER BRACKET

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the hook and remove the No. 2 EGR cooler bracket.

  1. Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses from the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly.
